benefits of vitamin d  for hair

There's no denying that certain supplements can help to support your attractiveness and give you a healthy glow, whether we're talking about collagen powder or vitamin C.

Many people are unaware that vitamin D, despite being reasonably well recognised for its skin advantages in the beauty industry, is also needed for hair growth.

How vitamin D promotes the growth of hair.

Numerous health advantages of vitamin D include promoting strong, long hair. It turns out that vitamin D3 has a direct (and crucial) function in the hair development (also known as anagen) phase and is involved in a variety of signalling pathways in the hair follicle.

The opposite is also true: According to a review from the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology published in 2021, those with hair growth issues are more  bcas  to have low amounts of vitamin D.

William Gaunitz, a trichologist with the FWTS certification and the founder of Advanced Trichology, previously expressed worry about this issue by stating that low vitamin D levels can affect the volume of hair on the scalp and the entire body.

A substantial portion of the population would benefit from obtaining extra vitamin D if they want to lengthen their hair, as 41% of U.S. adults are vitamin D deficient and about 29% are completely lacking in the sunlight vitamin.

The problem is that it is extremely difficult to obtain enough vitamin D through diet and sunlight alone (read: practically impossible). The best option if you want to encourage (and maintain) healthy vitamin D levels is to take a high-quality vitamin D supplement.
